I thought I chose wrong. I thought I missed it.
I chased the sky. I saw it swirl on fire.
I climbed the steps. I stood on the hilltop.

I watched the fires burn and the sun fade.
Saw my breath leave in a cloud of smoke.
And I realized, I chose right.
